Details As a member of HUMA, you will be eligible to run for any of the officer positions. Furthermore, you will have full voting rights, and will be able to participate in events held by the organization. Membership dues for a Muslim Harvard alum or faculty member interested in furthering the goals of HUMA are only $5, or $10 for those over the age of 40. Spouses of alums may also join for only $5. As associate members, they will be able to vote and participate in all HUMA functions, although they will not be eligible to run for office. We keep the cost of dues low to encourage members to pay them promptly, since these funds are used to maintain the organization’s website and post office box. We do, however, welcome larger donations, especially as the organization is getting started. If you are able to donate a larger amount, please contact the treasurer, Nadeem Vaidya, for more information. How to Join To become a member of HUMA, fill out an electronic application on our website. Membership dues can be paid securely online via Paypal (you will be prompted for payment once you submit your application). Alternatively, a check or money order made out to the Harvard University Muslim Alumni can be mailed to: Harvard University Muslim Alumni P.O. Box 382475 Cambridge, MA 02238-2475 Application and payment must be received before voting privileges are conferred to a member.
